Brandon “Brand” Walsh is the deuteragonist of the 1985 film, The Goonies.
He is the older brother of Mikey Walsh, who even though they don't have a great sibling relationship are still very close.
He is portrayed by Josh Brolin.
Story[]
When the treasure map is found by Mikey and his friends, Brand is reluctant to the idea and tries to keep them locked up in the house while their parents are away, but they frame him and melt away.
After freeing himself he chases them, but after getting involved in this adventure he is happy with what his brother has done, they save their city and Brand becomes engaged to Andy.
Trivia[]
- Brand's weight machine at the beginning of the film was a birthday present, as displayed on a note attached to the machine.
- According to Mikey, his favorite thing in the world is his bike. It took specifically 376 jobs mowing lawns to save up for it.
