Whatever life holds in store for me, I will never forget these words: "With great power comes great responsibility."

Brendoni is the tritagonist of the short-lived Nickelodeon fantasy sitcom The Other Kingdom. He's Princess Astral's cousin from Athenia who's half-fairy-half-troll, as well as Athenia's resident prankster and troublemaker before he's exiled by King Oberon to the "other world" in order for him experience humanity's ways first-hand, and hopefully came to appreciate them.
He is portrayed by Matt Burns as a troll, and portrayed by Adam Peddle as a fairy/"other".
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Like his cousin, Brendoni grew up in the nature-themed kingdom of Athenia. Not much is known about his relationship with his immediate family, although he had a close relationship with his cousin Princess Astral and her parents who were king and queen. Brendoni was next in line to be ruler of Athenia if Astral decided to forfeit her rights to the throne. Even though he would constantly embarrass or humililate her with his varied pranks (including an incident on Astral's 14th birthday involving 14 skunks), he still deeply cared about and loved Astral.
She and Brendoni would ocassionally sneak off to the "other" world, and fly over Thesus High as fairy spites undetected. Brendoni would often cause mischief towards the students, while Astral was interested and affection for a student named Tristan.
Athenian Jokester[]
One day, Astral and Brendoni would sneak off to the "other" world as spites once again. Only this time, when Astral and Brendoni returned to Athenia, they get caught by Oberon and Titania and are forced to explain where they've been. After Brendoni reveals that Astral has a crush on a high school gymnast, Oberon bans Astral from ever returning to the others' realm, as a way to ensure she's prepared to become princess of Athenia, and forces Brendoni to stay in Athenia until he learned to properly watch out for her. Although, thanks to a compromise with her parents about going on an "other walk", Astral was allowed to travel to the human realm for 90 days, where she'd pose as Devon's British exchange student.
A few days later, Brendoni, still in Athenia, would come across Winston -- Devon's actual British exchange student-- who ended up in Athenia, and was under the illusion that he was at "wizard school", sitting bridge for several hours hoping he'd get wizard powers. Brendoni convinced Winston he knew a quicker way and made a deal with him.
Brendoni would land Winston into a series of harmful pranks (involving jumping in mud 100 times, running into a tree 22 times, and nearly eating a bug) claiming he was helping him learn to be a wizard, before eventually dismissing him and saying he didn't have what it took. Although when Queen Titania comes by and is informed by Winston about Brendoni's deciful tricks, she understood how tricky Brendoni could be, and helped Winston get back at Brendoni with a trick involving lightning striking Brendoni, much to his confusion.
After Brendoni tries another prank on Winston, only for the prank to affect King Oberon and Queen Titania, the two of them wonder what they'd do with them, and confront him saying he'd learn why the "others" needed them and vice versa, explaining they needed the "others" since only said others can get themselves out of the mess they created, and their magic can only reach so far. But even after Oberon tries to explain to him how humanity needed fairies as their guide and vice versa, he still couldn't convince him. The final straw was when Brendoni gets close to Winston and nearly swallows him whole, much to Oberon's frustation. Versitude suggests sending him into the mortal world as a last resort, which Oberon agrees to hoping that being surrounded by "others" would force him to change.
The Other World[]
But upon first arriving at school and encountering her cousin Astral, the duo's reunion was less than pleasant to say the least, as Astral freaked out worried that he was going to ruin her chances with Tristan. Devon would have to chase him around school as he caused havoc to the students of the school, and when Devon finally caught up with him and chastised him for being such an insensitive slob, he was surprisingly willing to make a minor compromise.
Brendoni would then end up staying over with Devon over at his house with Astral, where Devon would initially not like Brendoni's constant nasty ways, but after spending some time together, Brendoni would start to gain a fondness for and come to like Devon, although he'd always deny this whenever it was brought up. Morgan on the other hand, was less patient with Brendoni, not liking how much of a rule-breaker he was and insensitive to others.
While tidying up, Astral found the plans for Mr. Quince's construction center in Evermoor Woods, which would potentially destroy the forest and Astral's home Athenia. The next day, she, Morgan and Brendoni were able to into Mr. Quince work place, with Astral and Brendoni crawling through an airvent over Mr. Quince's office and crashing through the ceiling into his room, Astral's would glimpse Quince and business workers to wipe the last 30 seconds from their memories, but they didn't stop the planning. So when Mr. Quince uses the restroom, only to Brendoni to lock him in, Astral, Morgan and Brendoni would go into Mr. Quince's office and briefly take off to explain how generations grew up with those trees, and more would continue to do so if they made the right choice.
The construction would later get cancelled, but when when Devon finds out Astral was celebrating the research center being turned down and intentionally caused it to be turned down by going to the city council, he refuses to speak with her or Morgan, forcing Astral to reveal her fairy identity to him (along with her cousin Brendoni being part-fairy-part-troll), which takes some time for Devon to adjust to.
