Briar is one of the three main characters of the Chinese animated series, Boonie Bears.
He is an anthropomorphic brown bear who lives in a forest with his brother Bramble, as well as several other forest animals, who lives in peace in the forest until one day where a lumberjack by the name of Logger Vick decides to come to the forest to chop it down, leading to Briar and the other forest animals come up with plans to defeat Vick and prevent him from chopping down any trees.
In the original Chinese version, he was voiced by Wei Zhang, in the English dub, he was voiced by Rick Jay Glen.
History[]
Briard is the strictest character of all the characters. He points to Bramble. And Briard is very resourceful. When he, Bramble and Squirrel want to stop the Lumberjack Vic, Briar always comes up with ideas. Briard empathizes with Bramble. He's always trying to save Bramble from any situation. And Briard knows how to distinguish a friend from an enemy disguised as a friend. In the episode "The New Bear", he was the first to realize that the third bear was not a bear, but a Lumberjack Vic in a suit.
Appearance[]
Briar has reddish-brown fur. He has a white band on his chest, a big nose, greenish eyes, and red ears.
Personality[]
Briar and his brother, Bramble tries to prevent Logger Vick from cutting down the trees. He is considered more clever, brave and more controlled than Bramble, despite the fact that he isn't attached to food, neither he is rarely afraid of Logger Vick.
