Broadside was a clone trooper pilot who fought in the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars.
Biography[]
A confident experience fighter pilot, Broadside flew alongside his good friend Matchstick during the Republic attack on Grievous' giant warship, the Malevolence. Eager, Broadside welcomed the chance to be one of the first Republic pilots to fly a Y-wing fighter.
Pilots are superstitious and most have rituals they follow to make sure they return to base safely. For Broadside and Matchstick, the good luck charm is to take turns agreeing to buy drinks when they make it through each new Republic mission.
As the war continued, Broadside participated in the Battle of Kamino, when the Separatists launched an invasion of the planet. Broadside flew with Anakin Skywalker during the battle and helped push back the Separatist fleet, ending the attack.
