Brogan is a major protagonist in Shrek Forever After. He is the second in command of Fiona in alternative life after Shrek made the deal with Rumpelstiltskin.

He is voiced by Jon Hamm.

Personality

Brogan is generous, selfless and protective. He is a willful and optimistic ogre who keeps hope alive in the battle against Rumpel.

Physical Appearance

He is a much larger and more obese ogre than Shrek, has trumpet ears that I can make trumpet sounds and a potato-like nose with green eyes.

He wears an orange shirt and rope as a belt over black trousers with brown boots and pieces of cloth as wrists on his hands.

History

Shrek Forever After

He is first seen with Shrek rescuing Donkey from being eaten by orcs, and then quickly befriends Shrek and Donkey.

He is also seen in the orc meeting room with Fiona and the other orcs planning to attack and annihilate Rumpelstiltskin when he passes by in a carriage.

Then at dinner he enjoys seeing Donkey make everyone laugh with his jokes about him, and tells Shrek that he thinks he understands why he didn't want to eat it.

The night arrives and the orcs attack Rumpelstiltskin's carriage, but it turns out that it was ambushed by Shrek with Pied Pipper, but Shrek and Fiona manage to escape and Brogan and the other orcs remain to dance and are captured.

Then Brogan and all the other orcs are rescued by Shrek who spurs the pact with Rumpelstiltskin to free all the orcs, and then they plan to return to the castle to save Shrek and Fiona.

Upon entering Brogan gives the command to attack and a battle with the witches begins. Shrek and Fiona manage to kiss each other in true love before Shrek vanishes, and all the alternate reality disintegrates.

Brogan is last seen at Shrek's little ones birthday party during the song "I'm a Beliver".

Donkey's Thriller Night

Brogan appears in Donkey's Thriller Night for Christmas Eve to find Christmas songs.
