Brom was a veteran Dragon Rider and a character in the Inheritance series. Brom was also the father of Eragon. Brom was, like many other Riders, opposed to King Galbatorix's regime in Algaeasia and eventually founded the Varden, a resistance against Galbatorix and his Empire. Brom also trackd down and slew the thirteen Forsworn, servants of Galbatorix, and eventually killed their leader, Morzan.
