Bronya Rand is a minor antagonist-turned supporting playable character in 2023 science fantasy turn-based tactical role-playing video game Honkai: Star Rail. The heir of Cocolia Rand, the Supreme Guardian of Belobog and the Commander of the Silvermane Guards, Bronya tried to capture the Trailblazer and their allies under Cocolia's orders until travelling to the Underworld and seeing their condition for herself.
She is voiced by Xie Ying (谢莹) in Chinese dub, Kana Asumi (阿澄佳奈) in Japanese dub, Madeline Reiter in English dub, and Lee Bo-hee (이보희) in Korean Dub.
Appearance[]
Bronya is a young woman with silver-blonde hair and short stature. She has silver piercing eyes as well as a stark demeanor. She ties her hair in double pigtails. She wear a a topless jacket, light brown gloves, white jacket, a white skirt with a blue ribbon with gold badge, a light brown stocking, and black glove with gold attachment.
Personality[]
Bronya is introduced as loyal to her mother as well as Belobog, as well as being an experienced commander of the Silvermane Guards. Initially, she tried to bring the members from Astral Express to justice after they were framed, but soon becomes one of their major allies.
Bronya also possessed a naive attitude about the Underworlders due to Cocolia's propaganda.
Biography[]
Bronya is an adopted heir to the late supreme guardian of Belobog, Cocolia Rand. At early age, she received a proper education of ethics that made her possess her courteousness and affinity. Cocolia Rand, whom she called her "mother", once told her about the Belobogian ancient folk tales and fairy tales, in which she is more interested in a stories with bad endings. She also learned to hide her thoughts to keep a secret. Years later, she felt that her mother's smile might have a hidden silver of regret.
From the moment after she don the Silvermane Guard armor, and she prepared for a battle against Fragmentum monsters. In a campaign at northern ruins, Bronya, along with the other Silvermane Guards facing a gruelling battle, fighting bravely, until they ran out of supplies, such as ammo and food. Facing the harsh winter, they had to survive and made their way to evacuation point. However, they were ambushed by a Fragmentum monsters, realizing that the Fragmentum creatures are capable of planning for ambush, they were at disadvantage. From that moment, one Fragmentum monster delivers a fatal strike that was meant for Bronya, but the nameless Silvermane private bravely taking the strike, at price of his life, saving Bronya in process. Though Bronya and the other Silvermane guards made their way safely, they had suffered the loss of the Silvermane officers, including the brave private earlier, and she doesn't even have a time to see her saviour's face. From the moment, she witnessed a life and death duty of a Silvermane officers. At the funeral after the campaign, Gepard Landau saw Bronya's grief and came into her side. She stated that she would have died in his stead, but Gepard said that bearing heavy burdens is what makes a leader. Gepard's support inspires her to become the future supreme guardian.

- Bronya's Japanese Voice actress, Kana Asumi voiced Silver Wolf in the same game. Both characters are derivatives of Bronya Zaychik from Honkai Impact 3rd.
