Barbie Roberts, also known as Brooklyn, is a major character in the Barbie franchise. She is one of the main protagonists in the 2021 CGI-animated Barbie film, Barbie: Big City, Big Dreams, and the 2022 TV series, It Takes Two. She is from Brooklyn, New York and is one of Barbie's best friends. They have the same name which they nicknames based on where they are from. The other Barbie is nicknamed called Malibu, they meets during a summer program in the performed arts school, in fact, they becomes the roommates. She later returned as one of the main protagonists in the 2022 fantasy film, Barbie: Mermaid Power and Barbie: Epic Road Trip.
She is voiced by Amber May in Big City, Big Dreams and later by Tatiana Varria in It Takes Two, Mermaid Power, Epic Road Trip and A Touch of Magic.

When Barbie arrived in Handler Arts Academy from California, Malibu, Brooklyn first encountered her with the same name as her. They taking of their baggage, which turning on stumbling its heading over onto door, enters the academy. However, the custodian told the girls that they are showed up a day early, she making offered the dorm rooms for them. So much will this, she and Barbie can able to sought the door by the full name "Barbie Roberts", but also revealed that they have the same names, upon their wanting to becomes roommates, puts up the nicknames of themselves who were coming from, Barbie wants to becomes Malibu and Brooklyn then being in friends with her.
Brooklyn begins to playing all the music and that having fun with Malibu, much to be was it that they eating the foods, very delicious. By this it, so when they visit New York into arrive at the subway looking the poster of the popstar, Emmie. She was an old childhood friend of Emmie, which never seeing her at the long time. The girls could be that agreement but did not makes all the stardom depose their friendships, with much to the way. Upon Brooklyn and Malibu meets Dean Morrison, Emmie disguised as the student, which she would takes participated in the Handler Arts Academy until her pleasure. Dean, who was taking of the stage, picking on the speech of the most audience.
She announced that the annual Spotlight Solo would be live stream from Times Square. After entering the clothing room, Brooklyn and Malibu meets a outfit student Rafa and his pet dog, Gato. The first time of the classing to the academy, the girls later performed the ballet dance, as well as singing a songs and the other activities, which they takes of the wishes. Malibu called the phone to her boyfriend, Ken, because she mixed up to feelings. Having joined the lunch with Emmie and Rafa, Brooklyn keeps on her face and eating the sandwich, which Malibu ready to eats the foods. Upon reunited the friendships with Emmie, Brooklyn knows that Emmie has been lost the contract with her, due to her controlling father engaging with her. Malibu and her friends will keeps the secret but Emmie is living in the school. The girls heads to the Central Park and change a new outfits as Rafa gives them, Brooklyn also phone her parents in the way, she telling Malibu that her mother is the pilot, which her father every worried about her. Malibu regard it is okay, as her father worried about that her being in New York. At so be agrees, Brooklyn and Malibu took pictures by transmits to their fathers, they are dancing with whirling in front of the fountain, caused their dresses were becomes sparkles.
When Emmie's father, Mr. Miller arriving in Handler Arts Academy, to be observe all the students which makes his daughter having the Spotlight Solo. As Rafa recording the class in shot, Malibu dancing with Emmie and Brooklyn. She accidentally knocks into Brooklyn into an orchestra pit, much to disgust. While was dreaded in the ways, Brooklyn was unhappy as she falling into a percussionist's drum, and damaged her ankle. She going to find the doctor and cures her ankle, helping her to be complete healing. Later on, Brooklyn and Malibu went to the park in the discussion, Rafa and Gato coming to talked them, which they offers dancing. Much to disappointed, Dean wanting to letting Malibu banishing from the academy for trying sabotaged Brooklyn.
Sadly, Brooklyn was still upset as she does not making friends with Malibu, which their friendship was eventually termination. Returning in California, Barbie is ravaging that Brooklyn thinking as she ruined her, which her parents were be very depressed. Upon noticed its, Brooklyn and her mother arrival in California, she apologizing to Malibu and taking her back to Handler Arts Academy. Soon after, the girls with be reunion and recreated the friendship, seizes the Spotlight Solo. Setting up a live stream, Emmie later revealed her true identity, introduced to Brooklyn and Malibu. They show off to be wearing shining dresses together the performance though have about their friendship, which enjoy a honor, but their family and friends all watched live in Times Square.
