Brownie is the tritagonist of the Super Meat Boy Franchise.
He is a feces replicate of Meat Boy created by Dr. Fetus to serve as his rival, but was manipulated by his creator. after not actually wanting to kill Meat Boy, Brownie and the latter become good friends and started as rivals to each other, racing each other to the finish.
Appearance[]
In the salt factory boss scene, Brownie is a poop version of meat boy, but with corn as his eyes and mouth. He has the same speed as Meat boy, as his start animation starts quick.
Bio[]
Super Meat Boy[]
Before the battle begins, Meat Boy finds Bandage Girl tied in the factory and attempts to rescue her. However, Meat Boy's rescue is interrupted by Dr. Fetus, who is using a toilet. He then flushes the toilet. creating the poop creature known as Brownie. The poop creature appears and roars at Meat Boy, only to be interrupted by a fart from Dr. Fetus who, after spending time on the toilet, presses a button which floods the area with a rising pile of salt. And then the battle begins. They race to the end of the building, until brownie let go of the cliff, but had his life saved by meat boy, but Brownie did not make it out as he loses his grip after being pelted with bricks thrown by Dr. Fetus.
In the final chapter, Brownie appears once again after beating Dr. Fetus and escaping from "his castle". As a boulder is just about to crush Meat Boy, Brownie comes to save him. He sacrificed himself and is thought to have died as he went down with the island as it was exploding. However, he appears during the credits popping out from his grave and then getting hit by a toilet that comes from Dr. Fetus' castle.
Super Meat Boy Forever[]
Brownie returns with a couch outlet and a short hat as a playable character. In the first Other side opening, he appears in the shadows and shows his face, but sneezed and farted in a terrible moment, if that's his nature. He appears a playable character. he needs to be unlocked by racing meat boy (AKA Meat Ninja). Brownie looks meat boy in the eye and greets meat boy as they start running into the race of time. In the final scene, Brownie helped Meat boy up and shook hands with him, but meat boy was disgusted by brownie shaking his hand, as he winked at the end of the scene.
Trivia[]
- At the end of the escape of the Fetus Boss fight and after Brownie saved him, He respected Meat Boy for almost letting his life go away, sacrificing his life to save Meat Boy and his love interest.
- Brownie will never like Dr. Fetus because of his betrayal. He was only born to serve as Meat Boy's rival in order for Dr. Fetus to escape with Bandage Girl.
- In the boss fight, Brownie is actually a recording of a developer playing.
- In developer mode, it is possible to (supposedly) zoom out the screen revealing an alternate way to the top of the level, albeit guarded by a flow of salt. It is unproven, yet possible.
- Brownie strangely comes out of a sort of elevator in the cut-scene. Strangely, the elevator appears to be connected to the pipes of Dr. Fetus's open outhouse.
- Brownie also appears in The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth as a boss. Here, he appears as a giant poop ball with corns.
- If Brownie makes it to the top before the player, he will freeze in mid-air and the salt flood will disappear. The player, however, will not die and can still beat the boss by reaching the top. This does not, however, change the cutscene. in Version 1.2.5 the salt just Rises faster when Brownie is on the top.
- Brownie surprisingly has regeneration ability, just like his friend Meat boy.
