Bryce Fowler is the main protagonist alongside Hit-Monkey in Hit-monkey. He is a skilled assassin who is hired to kill one of the prime minister candidates in Japan before Ichiro's men kills him and Hit-Monkey's tribe and is now a ghost to assist Hit-Monkey in his adventure.
He is voiced by Jason Sudeikis.
Biography[]
He was born without a father when he was young while his mother brought in many boyfriends. He became a father as he has a wife and a daughter but their relationship ends when his mother's new boyfriend is revealed to be a criminal in the past. After encountering him in the trailer, he sees his mother on the ground and ends up shooting him on accident killing him. As he sits there dying, he tells Bryce to run or else they will come after him causing him to leave his family leaving behind Elwin's money before disappearing.
Bryce Fowler is an assassin who is hired to assassinate Ken Takahara who is a candidate for the next Prime Minister and manages to succeed in killing him without being noticed but ends up getting betrayed by the people he is hired for the job. However, Bryce manages to defeat them by cleverly planting a bomb in the money bag killing them before escaping as he ends up encountering the monkey tribe when he fainted.
The monkey's help him recover from his wounds in the hot spring but Bryce and the monkey's encountered the men who are coming after Bryce before he winks at Hit-Monkey accepting his death while being gunned down by the men and at the same time killing all the monkey's who are trying to fight back. As Hit-Monkey finds his body after seeing that he is the only monkey to survive, Bryce tells him to avenge him and his tribe's death before finally dying from his wounds.
At the train station, Bryce comes back but as a ghost who is connected to Hit-Monkey as he trains him to be an expert of being an assassin and at the same time guides him to the target he will kill and the enemies helping him on his way. Due to this, Hit-Monkey became the most feared assassin in Japan due to being a threat to Hazaki, he sent Lady Bullseye to kill him which lead to many people getting killed and injured in the process.
Due to this, Hit-Monkey traps Bryce in a circle with salt after getting sick of his path before leaving him. However, some time passes and Hit-Monkey frees Bryce from the circle looking very wounded due to Hit-Monkey being lost on what path he should go without Bryce's advice and words to him as they both try and defeat Hazaki and reveal that Shinji is Hazaki’s minion.
They managed to defeat Hazaki as Itaru reveals that Shinji Yokohama was behind the hit after he became the Prime Minister. They end up encountering Lady Bullseye as Bryce tries to distract her while Hit-Monkey persues Shinji. While battling her, he poured salt on himself to make himself solid enough for him to fight and to make sure the humans sees him before restraining her letting Haruka kill her.
As Hit-Monkey prepares to kill Shinji Bryce, Haruka and Akiko convince him to spare Shinji as he reveals that killing him would make things worse instead of bringing peace causing Hit-Monkey to spare him and Bryce ends up ascending to the afterlife revealing that all he has to do was do a good thing. Sadly, Hit-monkey kills Sinji after he pointed a gun at Haruka causing him to leave the country and feel remorse for his actions.
On the airplane, he meets Hit-Monkey again as he reveals that he made a deal with the devil that he can return to him with his new ghost powers as he will continue to teach and watch over him.
Personality[]
Bryce is shown to be a cheerful, upbeat and carefree even after he died. However, it is revealed that he only acted cheerful on hiding his pain when killing people only telling Hit-Monkey about this after spending a lot of time with him.
