The story of Bryce and Jackie Napier-Quinzel unfolds in the "Batman: White Knight" universe and its sequel, "Batman: Curse of the White Knight." Jack Napier, also known as the White Knight and the Joker, is the protagonist of this tale. Unlike the conventional Joker, Jack Napier rehabilitates and attempts to be a force for good in a world where Batman has become excessively violent. Harley Quinn is now a single mother of two children, hiding the truth from them that their father was the Joker, fearing they might follow the family's path. The Joker is dead, Bruce Wayne is behind bars, and Gotham City is undergoing a redefinition without Batman. As Harley tries to adjust to her new life, a mysterious crime mastermind called "The Producer" assembles a group of villains, including the Starlet, an assassin who pays homage to Golden Age cinema stars by murdering them.
When a recent crime scene suggests a connection to the Joker, the GTO and FBI agent Hector Quimby turn to Harley, the only person with information that can solve the case. With Bruce's assistance, Harley agrees to investigate, but to protect her children and her city, she must confront her own past and flirt with madness.
After the death of the twins' father, they embark on a journey. The twins, Bryce and Jackie, take center stage in a story of rebellion and coming of age, running away in a stolen Batmobile. Only the rapidly fading hologram of Joker Jack Napier has hope of leading them safely back home and keeping them away from the family business. However, a life of crime isn't the only temptation that young Bryce and Jackie face as they uncover a dark secret that could bring their father back to life for good.
With a wide array of Batman's former enemies and allies on their trail, the question is whether the twins will succeed in resurrecting the Dark Knight's greatest foe. The story of these characters is told in the White Knight universe.
Personality[]
Bryce stands out as the calm and logical sibling when compared to his sister. He is an introverted and contemplative young man who delves into online forums. He tends to be somewhat protective of Jackie, who often acts on impulse without much forethought. During his childhood, Bryce used to play pranks on his mother, but he eventually stopped such behavior and showed restraint. However, as the story unfolds, he becomes just as reckless as Jackie.
Jackie, on the other hand, serves as the impulsive force, She's more comedy laid back than Bryce and often speaking his mind without hesitation and frequently pulling Bryce into his adventures. She's prone to running away from home, causing Harley considerable concern. Jackie is the rebel and strongly takes after her mother, displaying persistence and a knack for persuasion. She has an aversion to keeping secrets.
Appearance[]
Bryce has blonde hair like his mother, Harley Quinn, while Jackie has black hair but later started dyeing it purple. Bryce has Joker's purple eye, and Jackie has Joker's green eyes. Both children seem to have their father's pointed nose.
