Buckbeak is a supporting character from the Harry Potter series. He is a hippogriff belonging to Rubeus Hagrid.
His vocal effects were provided by Frank Welker.
Personality[]
Buckbeak is a proud creature and at first, he seemed to be fairly aggressive, attacking Draco Malfoy when the latter insulted him. Despite seeming aggressive, Buckbeak has been shown to be very loyal and protective of those who treat him with kindness and respect.
Biography[]
In 1993, Buckbeak was introduced by Hagrid to third-year Hogwarts students during a class.

- The Prisoner of Azkaban is the only appearance Buckbeak makes in the films.
- In the books, Harry did not enjoy riding on Buckbeak, while in the films, he did.
