The Buccaneer "Bucky" is a major and supporting character in Jake and the Never Land Pirates.
He is Jake's living pirate ship, a close friend and his main transportation. Bucky is a very playful ship who has a mentality of his own, always communicates with his bell. He is often a minor character on the show, although he can sometimes play pivotal roles in which he helps Jake, Izzy, Cubby and Skully and they consider Bucky their most precious treasure. In the episode "Skybird Island is Falling!" it is revealed that Bucky can transform himself into a hot air balloon thanks to his sails and in the episode "Undersea Bucky!" it is revealed that he can transform into a submarine.
