Bulbasaur (Fushigidane in Japanese version) is a Grass/Poison-type Pokémon from the first generation. It evolves into Ivysaur at Level 16, then into Venusaur at Level 32.
He is voiced by Megumi Hayashibara in the Japanese version, and was originally voiced by Tara Sand in the 4Kids English version and currently Michele Knotz in the TPCi English version.

Ash Ketchum has a Bulbasaur (who is the guardian of the Grass type Pokémon). Bulbasaur became best friends with Ash's Pikachu, Squirtle and Charizard. Bulbasaur hates Ash's Heracross and using Vine Whip for always sucking the nectar from its bulb. Due to Professor Oak's Pokémon fighting against each other, Bulbasaur became an ambassador and peacekeeper of Professor Oak's laboratory.
