Buttons is a character in Animaniacs' "Buttons and Mindy" segments. He is described as Mindy's faithful dog who tries to keep her away from trouble when she breaks loose. But, ironically, Buttons is the one who gets in trouble from Mindy's mother, and sometimes with her father too, after saving her when he didn't do anything wrong. Luckily, Mindy is there to cheer Buttons up sometimes.
