CX404, nicknamed Dogmeat is a major character in the 2024 TV Series Fallout. She was the canine companion of Enclave defector Siggi Wilzig, and later the sidekick of The Ghoul.
Personality[]
CX404 is fiercely loyal to her owner, Siggi Wilzig. When another scientist tried to expose Wilzig's defection from the Enclave, she jumped to his rescue and killed the scientist.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
CX404 was born in an Enclave research facility. As a newborn pup, she was born underweight and was to be thrown in an incinerator as per Enclave protocols but was rescued by Enclave researcher Siggi Wilzig who inputted a false weight. Wilzig would train and raise the pup while also secretly working on cold fusion technology for Moldaver.
Escaping the Enclave[]
One day, another Enclave scientist would discover Wilzig's secret project and plans to defect. The scientist triggered the facility's alarm. When CX404 saw Wilzig being pushed to the ground by the scientist, she came to his defense and killed the other scientist. She would then accompany as he fled from the Enclave facility.

- The Ghoul's alias for her, "Dogmeat", is a recurring alias given to the majority of the canine companions across the Fallout franchise (excluding Rex). CX404 is essentially the Fallout TV Show's iteration of Dogmeat.
