Cabbie McHale is a major supporting protagonist from of DisneyToon Studios 43rd full-length animated feature film Planes Fire and Rescue.

He was a jolly old ex-military transport plane but now he a Firefighter who transports the Smokejumpers.

He was voiced by Dale Dye.

Biography

Planes: Fire & Rescue

As Dusty enters the base, he spots Cabbie listening to music. Soon Patch alerts him of a wildfire that broke in the forest, leading to him carrying the smokejumpers once they've loaded themselves up.

As they reach a safe place to land, the smokejumpers parachute from Cabbie onto it. Later Cabbie joins everyone but Blade and Patch at the main hangar during the night when Maru prepares them to watch an episode of ChOps, a show Blade used to star in. After watching the episode, Cabbie turns out not to have been a fan of the show.

The next day, Cabbie provided the Smokejumpers apparent help in containing a fire started by a lightning storm. Following Blade Ranger malfunctioning and falling unconscious as a result of failing to stop the Whitewall Rapid fire, Cabbie assures Dusty that Maru will make him better than new.

When Maru finds out that he cannot get any water, Cabbie believes the main line busted again. Cabbie flies with his team through the smoke to try and save the people from burning alive from the fire.

Later, he partakes in the Propwash corn festival alongside his comrades.
