Calumon is one of the main heroes in Digimon Tamers. He is also the source of Digivolution.
In the English version, he is voiced by Brianne Siddall.
In the Japanese version, he is voiced by Tomoko Kaneda.
Calumon is a small white rabbit-like creature. He has purple markings on his feet and ears. His eyes are green, and has a red upside-down triangle symbol with three black triangles on top of his head.
Calumon is extremely cute, and loves to play with humans, especially Takato and Guilmon. He dislikes not having anybody to play with, as well as getting tortured by Impmon. When Calumon is happy or surprised, his ears sprout up, but when he's sad, his ears shrink.
In the beginning of the series, Calumon thinks of the Real World as a game and the humans as other Digimon.
When Calumon and Jeri are trapped inside the Kernel Sphere, he helps her avoid depression and protect her from the Chaos with a barrier during the final battle.
The Digimon Sovereigns reveal that Calumon originated as the element of Digivolution - the realized version of "Digi-Entelechies". In order to hide the power from the D-Reaper, they turned the power into the form of a Digimon.
In the end of the series, the Sovereigns restore the power to the Digital World, but allow Calumon to continue to live as an ordinary Digimon.
