Mom, Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence!
„
~ Candace Flynn at the end of the intro of Phineas and Ferb.
“
You are so busted.
„
~ Candace's catchphrase.
“
Brothers. Does every sister have to deal with this? No. Do I have to deal with this? Of course. You'd think I'd have better things to do and more important things to worry about. Every single day it's one thing after another. But do Mom and Dad see it? No. Do they get in trouble? No. And another thing...
She is the daughter of Linda Flynn, older sister of Phineas Flynn and older stepsister of Ferb Fletcher. Her day usually consists of attempting to bully and bust her brother and stepbrother to their mother, Linda, because of their continuous inventing, which Candace disapproves of unless if it's for using them for personal gain, but by the time Linda arrives to see what they are doing, they always look perfectly innocent and normal.
She is voiced by Ashley Tisdale, who also portrays Maddie Fitzpatrick in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical film series and voices Sabrina Spellman in Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch and Stealth Elf in Skylanders Academy and voices and motion-captures Rachel King in The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes. In the Japanese dub from the series, Candace is voiced by Ryoko Nagata.
Candace wears a red tank top with a darker collar, a red belt with no buckle, a white skirt, red socks, and white Mary Jane shoes. She has also worn a white T-shirt that reveals her midriff with jeans, a swimsuit, and a light blue ballgown, She is the born of New yorker on the United States of American in Danville
At the bedtime, she wears purple pajamas with a cloud pattern.
In "Hail Doofania!" due to mix up at the dry cleaners, she is forced to wear Vanessa's tight-fitting black leather coat, black long pants, and black calf-high boots.
Personality[]
She is usually seen talking on her cell phone to her friend Stacy Hirano, and acts much like a stereotypical teenager when not trying to stop her brothers' antics. Although Candace continuously tries to bust Phineas and Ferb and finds them annoying, she at heart truly does care about them and tries to keep them safe from harm. This was demonstrated when she saved Phineas from falling off a drawbridge into a river and when she boarded Mitch's space station to rescue her brothers and Isabella from the evil alien's clutches. It can also be assumed that Candace wants to bust her brothers because she is afraid that they might get hurt since they are too young to do all these things, and thinks that their creations are dangerous, or maybe because she thinks that what they are doing is wrong and have to be stopped.
Candace is neurotic and insecure, all the aspects one would find in that of a stereotypical teenage girl. She is also incredibly obsessive, to the point where Candace's life long dream was that to bust her little brothers, Phineas and Ferb, because of the dangerous things they build, in fact, her catchphrase became "you are so busted!" Candace also frantically wants to keep her social life active which is normally why she spends that amount of time on her phone. Candace's frequent obsessions also range to her tremendous crush on her neighbor Jeremy Johnson whom Candace utterly adores and he remains partially ignorant to her admiration. She also has several control issues but in contrast to this, she is actually a very responsible teenage adult who does truly care for Phineas and Ferb despite them constantly getting on her nerves. This aspect of her personality is more apparent in Candace Against the Universe where she visibly appalled by Super Super Big Doctor's decision to lock her own siblings away and forbade them from having fun — something Candace would never do.
Skills and Abilities[]
Candace has shown a vast ability in singing and playing instruments. She can play the guitar and every musical instrument starting with the letter "B", including the banjo, the bass guitar, bagpipe, bassoon and balalaika . Along with that, she has a very good singing voice.
She won an annual essay contest for the exclusive Mayor for a Day title. This may imply that she is a talented writer.
Candace is very durable, having remained uninjured after suffering from perilous falls and even lightning strikes. Added with this is a remarkable athletic prowess that has yet to be paralleled by anyone else on the show. She can run at and maintain high speeds on foot as well as on a bicycle Her cycling performance in particular is nearly inhuman.
Candace has demonstrated remarkable strength on few occasions. These occasions include when was able to incapacitate an alligator with her bare hands with no injuries to herself ("Fireside Girl Jamboree") and when she subdued a giant video game boss Buford by hitting him across the face with her in-game life bar ("Gaming the System"). She can perform one-handed push-ups ("I Was a Middle Aged Robot"), and she has also been shown to be able to lift and carry her mother without apparent difficulty ("Tour de Ferb"). Added to this, it was made known that she can potentially develop a degree of proficiency in martial arts as demonstrated by Candace-2. (Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension)
She seems to be more flexible than other people, having been able to do the splits with little effort ("Phineas' Birthday Clip-O-Rama!", Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension).
She is an excellent swimmer as shown when she was forced to swim all the way to shore holding up a disposable camera when her brothers unknowingly locked her out of a submarine. She also qualified to become a lifeguard which requires a considerable amount of skill.
Contrary to her brother's prowess with building and constructing things, Candace has revealed that she has the ability to disassemble things in a very short time frame, seeing as she single-handedly took a train apart to keep the locomotive running ("Last Train to Bustville"), undid the modifications Phineas and Ferb made to the house within less than a minute (though against her will), ("Misperceived Monotreme"), and even tore apart a large contraption with her bare hands after finding out that it was built by her brothers ("Perry The Actorpus").
However, she has also been shown to possess some construction ability like her brothers, though to a lesser extent. She has been able to use this skill when given enough motivation ("The Best Lazy Day Ever", "Fireside Girl Jamboree", "Ask a Foolish Question"). She appears to be particularly inclined towards building/carving sculptures, though this may not (any longer) include castles ("Atlantis", "Phineas and Ferb Hawaiian Vacation")
She has a learner's permission and is excellent at parallel parking. It is now unknown how well she can drive, however, though her push to bust her brothers has been shown to have a dramatic effect on her driving performance.

Trivia[]
Her voice actress, Ashley Tisdale had also played as Maddie Fitzpatrick from The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
"Amanda" and "Xavier" are the two names that Candace had picked out for her future children. Given her interest in Jeremy, it's possible that he is the father of both children. This was later confirmed by Dan Povenmire during the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con convention.
Xavier, Fred's, and Amanda's situation is analogous to Phineas, Ferb's, and Candace's except rather than trying to "bust" her brothers for doing something, Amanda tries to bust Xavier and Fred for doing nothing. This being the case, Xavier is the Phineas of the pair as he talks more and he even tells that Fred that he likes Phineas while Fred responds that he likes Ferb.
Ashley Tisdale was unable to reprise the role of Candace in the Broken Karaoke Ways to be Wicked parody and is replaced by Shelby Young.
