Captain is a supporting character in Disney's 1961 film One Hundred and One Dalmatians. He is voiced by the late Thurl Ravenscroft, who also did the voice of Tony the Tiger.
He is a horse who lives on a farm in Suffolk, which is owned by a Major General. Because of this, Captain and the other animals on the farm act like an army.
One Hundred and One Dalmatians
One night, Captain hears barking coming from a dog named Towser and informs a cat named Sergeant Tibbs of this, who in turn tells a dog named Colonel. It is discovered that Towser is announcing that 15 Dalmatian puppies have been stolen. When Colonel dismisses Tibbs' claims of barking coming from Hell Hall (which had been abandoned for years), Captain points out that there is smoke coming out of the chimney, to which Colonel and Tibbs go to investigate. After finding the puppies along with 84 others, Colonel passes the news back to the puppies parents Pongo and Perdita via the Twilight Bark.
Whilst waiting for Pongo and Perdita to arrive, Captain, Colonel and Tibbs see a car approaching Hell Hall. Colonel and Tibbs go to investigate and leave Captain to watch out for Pongo and Perdita. Eventually, Pongo and Perdita arrive and fight off Jasper and Horace and rescue all 99 puppies before thanking Captain, Colonel and Tibbs for their help.
When Jasper and Horace attempt to pursue the Dalmatians, Captain, under Tibbs' orders, manages to kick Jasper and Horace into a wall.
