Captain Steven Grant "Steve" Rogers, also known as Captain America, is a playable character in Marvel's Avengers.
He is a supersoldier who utilizes a nearly-indestructible shield that he throws as a projectile. He was once a frail young artist enhanced to the peak of human perfection by an experimental "super-soldier serum" after joining the military to aid the United States government's efforts in World War II. Near the end of the war, he was trapped in ice and survived in suspended animation until he was revived in modern times, eventually becoming the long-time leader of the Avengers.
He is voiced and motion-captured by Jeff Schine, who also voiced Frank Aiello in Call of Duty: WWII, Javier García in Telltale's The Walking Dead, Carlos Oliveira in the Resident Evil 3 remake and Chris Redfield in Resident Evil: Village.

Steven Grant Rogers was born on July 4th, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York to unnamed parents. During the height of the Second World War, the military decided to recruit candidates for Project: Rebirth to super soldiers. Rogers was chosen and subjected to the super solder serum, enhancing his physiology to near-superhuman levels. He then served over in Europe and battled against Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party, becoming known as "Captain America". During one operation, Rogers found himself frozen in the artic, surviving due to the serum keeping him in a cryogenetic-state. However, he was freed from his frozen prison by the Avengers in the twenty-first century and became the team's leader.
A-Day[]
Captain America was first seen with his team the Avengers at the Avengers Day Event in San Francisco, California. He congratulated Kamala Khan for standing up to bullies for looking down on her as he handed her a comic book. The ceremony is interrupted by a terrorist attack led by Taskmaster. The terrorists' actions lead to the destruction of the Avengers' new helicarrier, the Chimera which seemingly killed Cap. The destruction of the Chimera lead to the creation of the Inhumans. Kamala was also mutated as well. Unknown to all except Monica Rappaccini, Steve survived the incident and was placed into cryogenic storage. Taking blood samples from him, she created a regenerative serum, which she used to treat an mutated George Tarleton. Using the new resources she required from AIM's usurpation of SHIELD, she kidnapped and hid an unconscious Steve Rogers on the space satellite, Ambrosia.
Marvel's Avengers[]
As she continued using his DNA to create her serum, he was kept in cryogenic storage to prevent him from escaping. Cap's fate and presence on the satellite remained a secret to all except Monica and her most trusted minions. Five years later, Iron Man eventually found him while on a mission in hopes of finding captured Inhumans. After escaping and fighting a horde of AIM Synthoids, Cap and Iron Man finally reached a local escape pod. Unfortunately, the two survivors were drawn off course into deep space by explosion of the detonated satellite. Fortunately, Thor grabbed the pod before the two could suffocate. After Captain America reunited with the Avengers, the team along (with Miss Marvel), set out to stop Tarleton and his evil organization. After fighting their way the minions of Tarleton, the Avengers finally reached Tarleton (now renamed M.O.D.O.K.). They fought M.O.D.O.K. intensely until the villain was defeated by Miss Marvel. After M.O.D.O.K.'s supposed death, Cap, a newly recruited Miss Marvel, and the rest of the Avengers continued to defeat all of AIM's facilities.
