Captain Caveman is the titular hero of the cartoon series of the same name. He is said to be the world's first superhero.
He was originally voiced by the late Mel Blanc who also voiced Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck in the Looney Tunes franchise, and Jim Cummings in Scooby Doo: Mystery incorporated. As of the 2021 series Jellystone, he is voiced by Jim Conroy who also voices Huckleberry Hound in the same series.
History[]
He is a caveman brought back to life in the modern age who fights crime and injustice with the aid of his band of mainly female friends: he is armed with a large club and is famous for his battle-cry of "CAPTAIN CAVEMAN!".
Appearance[]
He is a small, hairy caveman who wears a orange cape with black spots, and uses a truncheon for a weapon.
Personality[]
He is really good at baseball (as seen in Laff-a-Lympics where he won a baseball match). In many occasions he would use animals from his time (such as dinosaurs).
Powers/Abilities[]
He has superhuman strength, invulnerability and the ability to fly. He could also store incredibly large objects his his hair. His truncheon had man primitive mechanics in it allowing things to pop out of it.

He joined The Scooby Doobies in the Laff-a-Lympics alongside Dee Dee Skyes, Taffy Dare and Brenda Chance.

- Although he is a Hanna-Barbera character much like Scooby-Doo, Dynomutt, and other characters Hanna-Barbera, Captain Caveman was another creation of Joe Ruby, Ken Spears, Ruby-Spears.
- Even though he was made by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears who left Hanna-Barbera to make their own company and cartoons, Captain Caveman has appeared in many other Hanna-Barbera cartoons that Joe Ruby and Jen Spears never worked on.
