Captain Orion is a minor character in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. He is the warden of Pristine Peaks. Captain Orion was a traveler who had escaped from Cursa then got lost soon after, along with his mystery co-pilot. They eventually crash-landed at Pristine Peaks, due to not buying enough fuel.
He's voiced by David Gasman, who also voiced Rabbid Mario and Rayman.
Appearance[]
The captain is a tall, imposing Rabbid wearing a captain's uniform and matching hat. He also has an orange handlebar mustache and wears a striped, purple scarf.
Personality[]
Captain Orion is a polite, protective, bossy and loving Rabbid. When he hears that Rabbid Rosalina is in trouble with her, he always runs to save her. He acts like a father figure to her, as he hugs her after they are reunited as a family. When Midnite destroys Rabbid Rosalina's knitting, he becomes concerned, as he declares that she never does anything without it.
History[]
Captain Orion was originally a traveler who escaped Cursa after rescuing Rabbid Rosalina. However, they crashed in Pristine Peaks and Captain Orion became the guardian in the process. Rabbid Rosalina wandered inside the Winter Palace and was captured by Midnite. Orion tried to save her, but Midnite kicked him out of her palace.
After the heroes defeat a blizzard, they go to the Winter Palace to stop the second Darkness Tentacle. There they find Captain Orion frozen, who joins them and they go to rescue Rabbid Rosalina. In there, they meet Midnite, one of Cursa's Spark Chasers. He mocks the heroes and even destroys Rabbid Rosalina's knitting, much worrying Captain Orion. As the group reaches the top, Midnite tells the group that she was once friends with Edge, with Edge saying she wants to end the argument. Midnite then enters the Darkness Tentacle and the heroes enter as well.
Captain Orion then finds Rabbid Rosalina, but is captured by Midnite. Soon after however, the group along with Rabbid Rosalina defeats Midnite and Orion is freed and can reconcile with Rabbid Rosalina. Edge then shows mercy to Midnite, who then walks away. Captain Orion then tasks Rabbid Rosalina to join the heroes on their adventure, which she reluctantly does, but still follows her orders.
