Captain Pronin is the titular main protagonist of the 1992 Russian Captain Pronin animated series. Due to being an action film parody character, he is both a detective, an agent and a captain and is extremely competent with every skill he needs to fight crime and protect his country.
He is voiced by Igor Vernik in the Russian original and there is no English dub on the series.

- It is possible that Captain is actually his first name, as it was revealed in the third episode that Pronin didn't even finish the police academy yet.
- In the third episode, it is revealed that Pronin is the only threat to the Space Invaders, meaning that he is more powerful than the in-universe version of James Bond.
