Captain Universe is a cosmic superhero from Marvel comics and unlike most traditional heroes is a disembodied force rather than a singular character - as such many varied individuals have become Captain Universe in the course of Marvel comics long history, some of the more notable being Spider-Man and Hulk.
Captain Universe is the official protector of the cosmic entity known as Eternity and as such is granted a wide array of powers by which to do their job - due to being a force rather than a living entity Captain Universe can be any species, gender or age imaginable, depending on the current host.
Some of the powers displayed by Captain Universe include superhuman-strength, speed, stamina, agility, durability, power-enhancement, supernatural senses, energy blasts, flight, telekinesis and time-travel.
