“ | Make ten men feel like a hundred. | „ |
~ Cassian to his allies, his most famous quote. |
“ | I would rather die trying to take them down than giving them what they want. | „ |
~ Cassian to Kino Loy. |
“ | Everything I did, I did for the Rebellion. And every time I walked away from something I wanted to forget, I told myself it was for a cause I believed in. A cause that was worth it. Without that, we're lost. Everything we've done would have been for nothing. I couldn't face myself if I gave up now. | „ |

Biography[]
Background[]
Cassian Jeron Andor was born by 33 BBY on the planet Kenari to unnamed parents, and would become a child soldier by the age of six by joining an insurrectionist cell. Due to the cell being backed by the Separatists during the Clone Wars, Cassian would fight against the Republic. Following the Jedi purge and the rise of the Galactic Empire, Cassian would be recruited into the Rebel Alliance by General Davits Draven, and became the rebellion's greatest spy. Andor managed to make contact with many people across the galaxy, allowing him to gain intel on the Galactic Empire via his networks.
During the Empire's reign of tyranny, Cassian served in the Rebel Alliance against the Galactic Empire as a veteran spy. He maintained a network of contacts throughout the galaxy who kept him up to date on the Galactic Empire's activities. Sometime during his career, Cassian was stationed at the Rebel base on Yavin 4 when Jyn Erso was assigned by Mon Mothma to take part in the theft of the Death Star plans. During this mission, Cassian was assigned to keep an eye on Jyn due to her reckless and potentially volatile nature.
Rogue One[]
Andor would meet with his contact Tivik, who informed him that the Galactic Empire was creating a superweapon capable of destroying planets. The two were discovered by stormtroopers, leading to Cassian to kill Tiviki due to the latter having a broken arm, which didn't allow him to escape. Meeting with his superiors alongside Jyn Erso (who was previously captured), Andor reveals that Saw Gerrera has captured Imperial pilot Bodi Rook, who defected and knows of Galen Erso's deathstar plans. Cassian was tasked with rescuing Rook on the planet Jedha, but was also tasked by General Draven to kill Galen instead of capturing him. On Jedha, Cassian and Erso help the Partisans fight agains the Stormtroopers, but are captured in the process until they are saved by Chirrut Îmwe and Baze Malbus.
Despite being saved by the two, Cassian and Jyn were then captured by Gerrera's group since Andor had previously shot a Partisan during the battle (as the Partians was going to kill Erso with a grenade). At Saw's hideout, Andor rescued Rook and escaped from the planet before it was destroyed by the death star's weapon. Traveling to Eadu, Cassian attempts to eliminate Galen, but decided not to at the last moment, but Galen was killed from a Blue Squadron arriving and attacking the facility. Returning to the Alliance, Jyn attempted to convince them to fight on the planet Scarif to retrive the death star's plans, to no avail. However, Cassian agreed with Jyn's insistence and formed a group to travel to Scarif to retrive the plans.
On the planet, Cassian, Jyn and K-2SO sneaked into the security complex by impersonating Imperial officers, but a battled occured and K-2SO sacrificed himself to allow the two to continue the mission. While climbing to retrieve the death star plans manually, Cassian was wounded by Director Orson Krennic, but Andor would return and wound the director to save Jyn. Erso and Andor were then able to transmit the plans to the Rebel Alliance, but would die on the planet when the death star was launched by Grand Moff Tarkin.

Trivia[]
- The reveal in Andor that Cassian Andor helped to build parts of the Death Star while serving time at the Narkina 5 prison makes his Rogue One death highly ironic, as Cassian ends up being killed by the very superweapon he lent a hand to build.
