The unnamed cat is the main protagonist of the 1945 Looney Tunes cartoon Fresh Airedale).
History[]
The Cat is first seen being scolded for apparently stealing and eating the owners steak.
However the actual culprit is Shep who hides the steak from the angry owner while the cat is forced to take the heat for it and get thrown out.
Soon the cat learns Shep plans to kill a Scottish terrier for being labeled the #1 dog, due to being jealous it's not him and goes to hunt him down with the cat following him to stop him.
Just as Shep tries to kick the terrier into a swimming pool the cat stops him by knocking him in instead causing the Scottish terrier to dive in to rescue them.
However the Scottish terrier passes out afterwards and Shep makes it look like he rescued him causing him to be labeled a hero and a parade to be held in his honor much to the cats fury who bangs on the statue of justice in defeat and gets crushed by it.
