Heroes that appear in Japanese cartoons or similar media, often having very expressive features such as large eyes and symbolism that is rarely found in Western animation. Most, if not all, characters in anime (either heroes or villains) are depicted with traits (either personality or physical appearance) that are less or not cartoonish than those of Western cartoon characters. This is due to the fact that anime genres are more numerous than cartoons.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT add Heroes from Western animation, as they belong in Cartoon Heroes, regardless of whether or not they were anime-inspired or anime-esque, though they might be considered characters from anime imitations (i.e. The Boondocks, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, RWBY).
