Heroes who were meant to be villains, but went rogue and abandoned the other villains. They are similar to redeemed villains, but they weren't necessarily villains to begin with.

Their darker counterparts are Fallen Heroes; who are (in great contrast to Defectors) were once originally heroes who began progress into becoming the villain. Some of which are also on the Heroes Wiki.
