Friends? I thought this was supposed to be all about me.
~ Emperor Kuzco.

Heroes who exhibit extreme amounts of vanity, self-absorption and narcissism. They constantly think that they are more important, intelligent and special than they are and hardly see the truth. This may be done to provide a flaw to be over-come in the narrative, or may indeed just be part of the hero's core personality, living in awe of their own perceived power/glory.

NOTE: Egotistical heroes believe they are better than anyone else, thus putting themselves first. Therefore, Pure Good heroes never fall under this category.
