Although the traditional melodramas portrayed most heroes as mustache-bearing or muscular males, the idea of noble, misguided or just plain confusing, female heroes has been around since time began - ranging from noble witches to powerful amazons to society-protecting feminists, Heroines are just as capable of bringing hope as their male counterparts. All of the heroes in the category are also known as "Heroines".

Please note that no matter what the universe the female hero is from says, robots or mechanically/artificially created entities with feminine programming do not count and are to be labeled as Genderless. (e.g. Fi). Furthermore, Casanovas cannot be added either as that category is exclusive to males. Those who look like females but are entirely not also do not count here, and they should be labeled as male (like for example, Chihiro Fujisaki), even if they are not robots, mechanically created entities with feminine programming or casanovas.
