Heroes that would seek to rule with sheer force or whose main goal is to obtain more power, be it political power, superpowers, or magical powers. However, unlike their villainous counterparts, they seek power for the sake of saving their homes and/or love ones.

NOTE: Pure Good cannot count as they are at least constitutional and are not greedy for power in any way (please see Benevolent Rulers).
