Hybrids are heroes that are a mixture of one or more different species - they can be humanlike in appearance or totally alien but should not be confused with naturally occuring humanoid animals (who are more accurately described as Anthropomorphic, although they may overlap if the Anthropomorphic Animal is a mix of two or more different species). Furthermore, it's highly possible that hybrids are equally powerful than either race.
