“ | I have been stabbed, shot, poisoned, frozen, hung, electrocuted, and burned...and every morning I wake up without a scratch on me, not a dent in the fender... I am an immortal. | „ |
~ Phil Connors, in "Groundhog Day". |
“ | I CAN'T DIE. | „ |
~ Kenny McCormick |
Heroes who can live forever that capable of eternal life/virtual invulnerability. Same for heroes who can stay young that capable for eternal youth. This either means that they are nearly impossible to kill, or that they have an eternal life span/powers that render them not easily killed, but it's possible to them to die if killed/their weakness inflicted. There are also certain characters in cartoons such as Tom Cat, Kenny McCormick, etc. who die multiple times in their stories, but for unknown reasons, they are brought back in the next episode.
A prominent example is Raven and Captain Jack Harkness.
