These are the heroes from the Mortal Kombat franchise. The fighting game contains a large potion of heroes in their respective roles -- though the majority of heroes are fighting on behalf of Earthrealm and Edenia. Prime examples include the Shaolin monk, the God of Thunder, and the Lin Kuei assassin. However, some of the Netherrealm demons can be good at heart as well.

NOTE: Crossover heroes from other franchises, such as Injustice, do not count. They are not solely from the Mortal Kombat franchise.
