Always let your conscience be your guide.
~ Jiminy Cricket and The Blue Fairy

Neutral Good is known as the "Benefactor" alignment. A Neutral Good character is guided by their conscience and typically acts altruistically, without regard for or against Lawful precepts such as rules or tradition.

A Neutral Good character has no problems with co-operating with lawful officials and rules, but does not feel beholden to or affliated with them. In the event that doing the right thing requires the bending or breaking of rules, they may or may not suffer the same inner conflict that a Lawful Good character would, and if they do, then perhaps not as seriously. That being said, they're arguably the best of heroes.

To summarize, they're mostly neutral, but on the good side. Also, these characters are the opposite of Neutral Evil who are mostly neutral, but on the evil side.
