Optimists are heroes that have the expectation that the favorable outcome will be the result in the actions they commit, whilst nullifying the negative consequences. They usually have a bright, cheerful, kind-hearted, jocular, and positive attitude and tend to be more determined in conflicts they get involved in. The opposite of this is a Pessimist.

Prime examples of Optimists include Joy from Disney/Pixar's Inside Out, Spongebob Squarepants, Starfire, Princess Anna, and Wheezie from Dragon Tales.
