A Paragon is a type of hero that is considered the "ultimate" champion of truth, justice and honor - they were very popular in the Golden Age of comics and consisted of heroes powerful enough to move worlds and combat threats of great power: sadly as tastes changed the Paragon archetype grew into disuse in favor of more flawed anti-heroes and vigilantes.. though Paragons are still popular in some settings, especially DC.
