Pirates are those who engage in acts of piracy, namely robbing and engaging in other kinds of illegal activities using a ship or some other sort of boat against other ships or coastal areas. Unlike some other pirates though, they have an honorable side and will engage in acts of heroism too, like unexpectedly saving lives and teaming up with other heroic characters as part of a deal that will benefit both parties in some way. They can also be runaways who resort to piracy for survival.
