We're fighting because we're done bleeding for an Empire that won't bleed for us. Untold numbers of Nords died defending the Empire against the Dominion. And for what? Skyrim being sold to the Thalmor so the Emperor could keep his throne! We're fighting because our own Jarls, once strong, wise men, have become fearful and blind to their people's suffering. We're fighting because Skyrim needs heroes, and there's no one else but us.
~ Ulfric Stormcloak. An example of a Good Vs Good Rebel hero
To fight and oppose you and your forces, by any and all means at our disposal; To refuse any Imperial law contrary to the rights of free beings; To bring about your destruction and the destruction of the Galactic Empire; To make forever free all beings in the galaxy. To these ends, we pledge our property, our honor, and our lives."
~ Declaration of The Rebel Alliance in Star Wars. A example of the traditional Good vs Evil rebellion heroes

Rebellion Heroes are the opposite of Control Freaks and Oppressors (Imperialists, Tyrants, and an extended version of Usurper). They are oppressed heroes and heroines who fight against tyrannical systems or governments that hurt them. However, these systems says that these characters are terrorists in search of chaos and destruction, something like Anarchist, who would be their evil counterpart.

While usually in most stories rebellion heroes are potrayed as always justified and right and the system they are rebelling against being naturally bad, some Rebellion heroes can be Morally Grey and Good Vs Good.
