~ The Grinch apologize to the Whos for stealing Christmas.
I couldn't control my actions, oh, but God I was still aware. Oh, forgive me.
~ Jill Valentine admitting to Chris Redfield and his new partner, Sheva Alomar about attacking them as a brainwashed servant to Albert Wesker.
Sorry, Twi. We should have listened to you.
~ Applejack apologizes to Twilight for betraying her with the rest of her friends, Shining Armor, and also Princess Celestia.

Remorseful Heroes are characters who feel sorry for their or other's current or past actions. This also includes heroes who feel sorry of what they're doing at this moment and learn from their wrongdoings.

They also apologize for getting aggressively angry, (see Obstacles and Arguments) otherwise testing their friendships, killing the other character, insulting the people they've whether cared about, unjustly blaming others, or destroying their belongings. After successfully coping with their aggressive anger, they'll attend to apologize, which is exactly the case.

NOTE: Don't be confused with remorseful villains, unless they have redeemed themselves.
