You're wrong! All that was good in that man, he passed along to Jonathan! Every bit of it! You can be sure JoJo's gonna live an upright life using what his father gave him! Rich folks are rubbish... watching them flounce about, I wanna throw the whole lot of them into the Thames... but not the Joestars... they're heroic, and merciful, and just... the whole damn lot are giants among men!
~ Robert E. O. Speedwagon about Jonathan Joestar and his father in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood.
Chinatsu, you see, extremely likes the seniors' shining and straight points! Always chasing Akari-senpai! And catching up at last! Very happy now!
~ Chinatsu Hinata expressing her admiration for Akari Hoshizaki.

Heroes whose fans (often children) look up to. These heroes are often those who are considered to be a positive influence to those under them and they represent a shinning example of what a good person should be based on actions, manners, and unwavering determination to doing the right thing. These individuals represent how they themselves never gave into despair or any other vices people have and how they always stay true to themselves.

The positive influence they exert can lead certain villains they meet to renounce their evil ways and become better people, however, it is completely uneffective against Pure Evil villains who are completely atrocious and irredeemable, cannot be reasoned with due to already being able to distinguish right from wrong and yet always choose to do wrong willingly, and will always retain their villain status till the end no matter how much they suffer for their heinous crimes.
