Heroes who are very cultivated and refined in the pursuit of confronting problems or overcoming evil. Frequently, (though not always), characters that come from high social status or wealthy backgrounds have invested in becoming sophisticated as well. Sophisticated heroes are often not merely concerned with doing good, but with the proper method of doing good. Etiquette, style, and efficiency are their main concerns when helping others.

They are the heroic counterparts of sophisticated villains.
