Heroes that have betrayed or sold out others, sometimes good, other times bad. Treason, despite normally being seen as an evil crime, surprisingly is not always inherently evil. Heroes who are traitors can betray an evil organization, a villain, or even a heroic one without becoming evil dependent on the situation surrounding the betrayal. When these heroes betray other heroes, they usually regret their betrayal, and wish to make up for their crime.

Some heroes were possessed or brainwashed by another entity, but can still count due to turning against their allies.

Some traitors can also be pure good as their betrayal can also be for true righteousness rather than for a bad or negative cause/reason.
