Wayward Heroes

The Wayward are heroes or heroines who refuse to let someone make decisions for them. Be it teenage girls, slaves, warriors, or any hero or heroine who feels confined to a certain place, they are willing to defy any rules or expectations, usually those that are unjust. Ariel, Merida, and Solomon Northup are three examples.
