Catwoman is first seen investigating a robbery at the bank. While going into the sewer, she is attacked by Killer Croc. While she tries to escape, Killer Croc is killed by Batman.
Three weeks later, she is called and told about an escape from Arkham Asylum. She finds the Joker about to pour laughing gas down a vent. She starts beating him up, but he escapes by spraying Face-Mace at her. She chases him, but is waylaid by his clown gang. She manages to defeat them and resumes her chase of the Joker, only to find him already dead at the hands of Batman. She tries to take Batman down, but he deflects her staff and then escapes.
Catwoman does some research and learns that Darcy Dent, this universe's version of Two-Face, once killed two people for ruining her face and plans to do the same to Jason Stone, the agent who dropped her. She quickly goes to Jason's house and finds Two-Face about to mutilate him. Catwoman stops the mutilation, but Batman comes and throws a Batarang at them. Jason starts shooting, but Catwoman stops him by punching him. Batman disappears in the chaos.
Upon examining the ring that Two-Face threw, Catwoman has a flashback where she and her parents saw a movie called Cat People. As they were leaving, Selina saw a cat and chased after it. Her parents chased after her, but were soon gunned down by an unknown figure, who also took her mother's ring.
Catwoman returns to the Cat Cave and talks with her maid, Brooks about what has happened. As he begins his crime wave, Catwoman realizes that Batman was actually after her. A week later, she is at a party when she is approached by Bruce Wayne, who talks her into a relationship. Behind her back, however, he continues his crime spree, bringing her back into action. She finds Batman sneaking about one day. They engage in a duel that ends with them hanging off a rooftop. Batman uses a Batarang to cut a glove and send her falling.
Fortunately, she manages to grab another ledge and save herself, much to his shock. She gives his glove to Commissioner Gordon for some evidence.
While they are talking, Selina and Bruce talk about quitting and possibly getting married. Selina reveals her Catwoman identity to Bruce, who pretends to be surprised. Just as they are kissing, however, the (broken) signal for Catwoman appears, prompting Catwoman to run off to fight crime.
Upon learning of the chaos that Batman caused, Catwoman heads to the Cat Cave and tells Brooks all that happened. However, she does not listen to Brooks' suspicion about Bruce. Selina and Bruce soon get married, with Selina getting pregnant about a month later. Soon, however, Selina finds Brooks dead, with a Batarang in her head. She is then attacked by Batman, and during the scuffle, she accidentally unmasks him as Bruce. She goes for her Catwoman suit, but is chased down by Bruce. The two engage in a duel that allows Selina to activate the silent alarm. Enraged, he runs out.
Later, Selina dons her Catwoman outfit and finds Batman at a church. She beats him down and throws him off the edge. He tries to claim that he loves her, but she does not fall for it and lets him fall into the river. Upon looking into his collection, she sees her mother's ring and realizes that he was the one responsible for her parents' deaths. She puts the ring on her mother's grave and wishes them peace.
