Cenes Crawford, aka C=CTNs=C, is the main protagonist of Thunder Force V and Thunder Force VI. She is the leader of the combat unit 222, later named Thunder Force 222. Her callsign is "Phoenix" and she is also known as "KNIGHT 1". In Thunder Force V, her primary fighter is the RVR-01 Gauntlet, but after it gets destroyed, she later pilots the RVR-02 Vambrace.
In Thunder Force VI, 10 years after the previous game, a clone of her pilots the RVR-00 Phoenix, but later she pilots the Syrinx after the Phoenix goes through a mysterious transformation. It is unknown how the original Cenes was cloned however, as it is never explained in-game.
