After a while the X-Men gain numerous members like Wolverine. One day, an explosion would seperate the X-Men for a year. In that year, he would wash up on the shores of Genosha where Magneto would take care of him. After Wolverine brings back some of the members of the X-Men, they storm into Magneto's castle to retrive Charles. Once Charles is placed on a bed to rest, he mysteriously projects himself in the room. He reveals that the world had been taken over by machines in a nightmarish world. He tells the X-Men that only together can they prevent the dark future that awaits.

Badlands[]

Professor X and the future X-Men are ambushed by sentinels with Wolverine's powers. They run into the Badlands to escape them. However, after escaping them, Charles is swept away to a mysterious location. Professor X meets Polaris and after the future X-Men fight with Polaris and knock Magneto's helmet off her, Charles reads Polaris' mind and sees her final moments with her father (Magneto). The world was being engulfed in flame and Magneto admitted to Polaris that it was his fault the world was ending, and that his daughter should have never paid the price for his mistakes. So magneto embraced the fire while making Polaris fall into a tunnel to be saved from the fire. He empathized with her after all she had been through these past 20 years. Polaris then gave them the sentinel that she had used to attack them. In the dessert, Charles and the X-Men were ambushed by sentinels, however Polaris saves them. Charles informs Wolverine that the sentinels become more and more like mutants everyday, and that they all need to be better.

Code of Conduct[]

Professor X tells Wolverine to not despair after the X-Men have been taken into captivity by the Silver Samurai. When Wolverine tells Charles that he is not a leader, Charles reminds Wolverine of all the things he has done so far and is implied to inspire Wolverine to continue working towards a better future.

The future X-Men enter Master Mole's original detention center to uncover information on the event. They do so and acquire Master Mold's original memory banks to discover that they have only one week left till the destruction of the world.

Aces and Eights[]

Charles, informs Wolverine that someone would be infiltrating Genosha to steal Magneto's helmet. It is revealed that this person is Gambit. At the end of the episode, he informs Senator Kelly and Magneto that their continuing conflict would eventually result in the end of the world.

Foresight[]

After getting captured by Master Mold and being used as a search device to find all mutants on Earth, Wolverine saves him. Charles attempts to tell the past Wolverine to trust Emma Frost. However, his ,machine is so damaged that the message could barely get through. Charles, Wolverine, Bishop and everyone they could find attempt to make a final stand against Master Mold only for them to all die. After the world is saved from the Phoenix and the Sentinels, Charles congratulated the X-Men but warns them that Apocalypse has now taken over the future.
