Charlie Cale is the main protagonist of the series Poker Face.
Charlie Cale is a woman with the extraordinary ability to sniff out when someone is lying. And the compulsion to bluntly call it out. An easy going casino worker who, following the death of her friend, goes on the run in her sky blue Plymouth Barracuda. Charlie travels from place to place, encountering a suspicious cast of characters and new mysteries to solve at each stop.
She goes on a cross-country road trip and avenges a new injustice each stop, armed with little more than her uncanny ability to detect lies and a genuine appreciation for her fellow humans (and the occasional dog).
