Charlie Harris is a major character in the Everything is Fine webcomic. He was the neighbor of Sam and Maggie Wilkerson until being outcasted and joining a rebellion.
Biography[]
At some point Charlie had a daughter named Charlotte who was taken away by the Government.
Charlie was first seen awkwardly greeting Maggie at the grocery store then leaving. He was later invited to Bob and Linda's house for dinner along with Maggie and Sam, though he was reluctant, only accepting when a light started flashing. He showed up to the dinner showing little care about his appearance or interest in conversing. Once alone with Maggie, he asks her to come to his house to "see his trains" (actually wanting her to see his signal-blocking basement.) Maggie agrees, though is unaware that Bob is nearby eavesdropping. Maggie heads over to his basement but is interrupted when Officer Tom arrives due to a phone call from Bob and Linda. Tom sees his basement and promotes him to Red-status, ignoring Charlie's pleading. Chalie is then outcasted and ignored by the community.
Charlie becomes suicidal after being forced to watch his daughter die until he is swayed to join the rebellion by Judy.
Personality[]
Charlie is a mysterious and introverted man, unlike his overbearingly polite neighbors. He is shown wanting to decline Bob and Linda's dinner invitation, only accepting because the laws force him too. Charlie is secretly a rebelious man wanting to fight the system, seen as he has an illegal signal-blocking basement.
